2018 was another great year for the Pheasant Hotel. We were delighted when our General Manager Liam McDonnell won the Yorkshire Life Customer Service Award and earlier in the year we were once again rewarded with an AA 3 red star Inspectors’ Choice Award for our high level of quality, excellent standard of hotel keeping, and our outstanding service and hospitality.
We also retained our 2 AA red rosettes for our culinary excellence and our TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the fifth consecutive year. In October we were thrilled to be featured in the Sunday Times Top 100 Hotels – you can read the full review on our website. We have also featured in the Michelin Guide, the Good Hotel Guide and the Good Food Guide.
We held 21 fantastic weddings at the hotel including that of our very own Jacquie when she tied the knot with Peter Silk in fabulous style on a glorious July day – and to finish off a very special year for us we welcomed baby Wilfred Neville – born in early December to proud parents Chef/Patron Peter Neville and his partner Cecily – the latest addition to the Pheasant Family!
We would like to thank of all our guests for such great support once again throughout 2018 and we wish you all a very Happy, Prosperous and Peaceful New Year. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2019 but not between the 10th and 30th March when we will closed for a bit of a refurb and Chef will be taking delivery of a brand new shiny kitchen!
